Namulinda Prossy Hamirie-  Orphanage Director 

Prossy is the wife of Lucas Hamirie, district superintendent of the sixty-five Wesleyan churches in Uganda. While visiting with us many years ago now, Prossy shared her vision for caring for orphans in an orphanage.  She had been caring for orphans in her home and had been feeding the street children outside her cosmetic shop. In February of 2009 we were able to start the first orphan home quickly filling our rented property with 8 orphans and two house mothers. Our new facility is now home to 36 children.  Prossy is the heart behind orphan care in Busia, Uganda.  She has a huge heart and needs our prayers while doing the ground work.
